Annual General Meeting:

The Annual General Meeting is a luncheon held annually in March. The agenda includes a meeting (Executive reports, Financial Review, Election of Executive Members and Adoption of Budget), presentation of New Memberships and the MAYOR'S "STATE OF THE COMMUNITY ADDRESS".

Annual Career Opportunities Day:

This event is held in April or May and provides a venue to bring youth and regional employers together to increase awareness of local career opportunities. It consists of a recruitment fair, information seminars and tours of local businesses/industries.

Spring General Meeting and Golf Tournament:

Held annually in June at Minnewasta Golf & Country Club. Members start the day with a nine-hole fun golf tournament and then meet at the Clubhouse for the Spring General Meeting luncheon. The agenda includes a short meeting and updates on Community activities. A special guest speaker and golf prizes are featured.

Morden Market Days:

An annual Farmers' Market is organized and sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. The market is held every Thursday from mid June to early October. Local vendors sell fresh fruit, vegetables, baking, crafts, preserves and much more.

Morden Corn and Apple Festival:

The Chamber of Commerce has administered the Festival since its inception in 1967.

Small Business Week:

Annually in mid October the Chamber sponsors promotion and/or events to mark the event.

Business Recognition:

The Chamber, together with a Town Councillor delivers plants to welcome all new businesses when they open. The Chamber also presents a certificate of Recognition and congratulations to mark Members' business milestones of 10 years and more.

Policy Events:

All Candidates Forums for Municipal Provincial and Federal Elections for well over 25 years. These provide an opportunity for Candidates for election to outline their platforms and answer questions so that community members can make informed decisions.

Networking Events:

Educational seminars, workshops and get-togethers are offered on a regular basis.
