Carol Fehr moved to Morden from Great Falls, Montana in 2006 and with partner Lyndon Fehr purchased Employnet Inc. She immediately got involved in the community and with the Chamber of Commerce, joining the Executive in 2007.
Carol has a Business Management degree from Alleghany County Community College; Business Management/Marketing degree from the University of Phoenix as well as certificates in Leadership and Human Resources.
She has extensive experience in retail sales and management, media on-air, sales and production; event entertainment production; human resources and personnel service; Chamber of Commerce Marketing and Communications and Advertising.

Ross Ariss is an independent financial advisor specializing in investment and insurance planning. His business, GG Financial Inc., is a family owned company that can trace its roots in Morden to 1968. Ross has an academic background in philosophy and a business background in management and sales. Serving southern Manitoba and Winnipeg has allowed Ross to work with many different clients and learn much about our great region. Currently serving as an executive member of the Morden Chamber of Commerce, he is also the representative member on the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce supporting the growth of Entrepreneurial Spirit and Community Values. Ross also volunteers as a committee member of the Morden Corn & Apple Festival. Ross is married to Anita Gebler and they have three children.

Pembina Valley Containers

David Weiss moved to Morden in 1987 and purchased the fledgling Pembina Valley Containers. He started Brandon Waste and Recycling in 1998. He has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce Executive since 1998 and was President in 1999 and 2000.
His formal training and experience is in Vehicle and Heavy Duty Mechanics and has worked extensively in the mining field in BC and on Baffin Island, NWT. He attained his 4th class Marine Engineer Certificate and worked on ships and power plants and as a trouble shooter for electrical, hydraulics and air systems. He has also taught apprenticeship programs to Inuit trades.
His other interests include investing, teaching Sunday School, traveling, skin diving, fishing, his little green '56 T-Bird and spending time with his family.

Lynette Froese owns and operates Wheat Song Bakery in Morden and has been a vendor at the Morden Chamber’s Farmer’s Market for the past 6 years.  She recently joined the executive committee and as a representative of the market vendors, hopes to promote and enhance the role that the market plays in attracting visitors to Morden. Lynette has a degree in Home Economics and has worked for many years in the social services sector. She has also been an active community volunteer and sees her role on the Chamber executive as another way to participate in the life of the community. She lives in Morden with husband Ken Froese and 2 teenage daughters.

Irma Maier grew up in Kazakhstan, formerly a part of the U.S.S. R.  In 1988 she immigrated to Germany with her husband Alexander, their two children and her parents.  In Germany she obtained a certificate in Business Administration and worked for the Diaconate Association, a non profit organization that does social work with individuals in emergencies and in socially unfair conditions.

In 1998 she and her family immigrated to Morden.  She established Pathfinders Canada in 1999 and moved her office from Winkler to Morden in 2004.  In 2007 Pathfinders Canada was re-branded as Compass Canada Immigration Services and moved to new offices at 459 Stephen Street.

Irma is a certified Immigration Consultant and is registered at the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants.  Some other certificates she had obtained in Canada are: Manager as Mediator; Community Justice Forum Facilitator; and Volunteer Interpreter Training conducted by Immigrant Women’s Counseling Services.

Presently she is an active member of the Community Justice Committee in Morden and serves on the Executive of the Morden & District Chamber of Commerce.

The Maverick 105FM Radio

Sarah Dyck works in sales for Maverick 105FM and has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce Executive since 2007. Her involvement with community activities began as a 4-H youth member and continued with the Stanley Agricultural Society (part of the Winkler Harvest Festival & Exhibition) and Vendor Relations chair for the Morden Corn and Apple Festival. In her spare time she enjoys reading, completing word and number puzzles and spending time with family and friends.

Connor Holenski is a life-long resident of the Darlingford area. He was elected to the Chamber of Commerce Executive in 2008.  He is the Outside Sales Representative for Fastenal.
